User Roles

There are just a few distinct roles for people in an Instant Community.

Community Owner

A community owner has full control over their community. They are able to add and delete applications, to moderate discussions, and to designate other people as owners and administrators.

Community Administrator

A community administrator has similar permissions as a community owner, with the exception of being able to designate other people as owners and administrators.

Community Member

A community member is not able to control applications or to moderate discussions, but is able to post in online discussions.

Guest

A guest is able to view most things in a community, but is not able to post in online discussions.
